If you must reschedule or cancel your spa appointment, please notify Sveta’s Skin & Body Therapy directly 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full amount to the credit card on file. Spa Packages and Groups require 48 hours notice. A credit card number is required at the time you book your treatments. “No Shows” may require prepayment for future appointments.
Although we love children, we hope you understand children are only permitted in the spa if they are receiving a service. With respect to all of our guests we strive to maintain a quiet and tranquil environment. Please make arrangements for your children prior to your visit.
Please turn your cell phones off or set on silent during your time at the spa in consideration of others and to enjoy your “me time”.
In anticipation of your arrival, we would like to offer a few Sveta’s tips to make your visit with us as relaxing as possible:
Avoid eating a large meal prior to a body work session, shower before you arrive and allow yourself a little extra time to relax post-session. We offer a shower and amenities for your benefit. Drink plenty of water post-session to eliminate toxins and keep the body refreshed. Check in with your therapist throughout the session on pressure and comfort. If you would like more or less pressure please let your therapist know.
Be sure to inform the Aesthetician if you are currently taking Acutane or Retinol. For peels or Microdermabrasion sessions please stay out of direct sun for at least 24 hours post treatment. Proper home care regimens will increase the results of facials and create longer lasting effects; your Aesthetician will offer customized recommendations at the end of your treatment.
A quarter of an inch hair growth is recommended for proper body waxing; do not shave three to four weeks prior. We offer a numbing cream and a numbing spray that can be purchased beforehand to help ease any waxing discomfort. No Scream Cream must be applied 45 minutes prior to appointment, and Gigi Numbing Spray can be applied 5 minutes prior to appointment. For those with extremely sensitive skin a half dose of Benadryl is recommended prior to waxing. If you are taking Acutane, waxing is not recommended as it can cause burning or tearing of the skin. Avoid tanning or visits to the gym directly before or after waxing.
Bring sandals or flip- flops with you to keep the polish from smudging inside of shoes, disposable ones are provided for you as well.
The Spa accepts cash and all major credit cards as payment. Prices are subject to change without advance notice. Treatment times are approximate. Gratuities are not included in the service price and are not mandatory, but kindly appreciated. All gratuities may be paid directly to therapists in cash or added at time of payment. We proudly recruit and train our staff to be the most qualified spa professionals in the industry. Our recommended standard gratuity for spa treatments is 18%-20%.
Gift Certificates are available for purchase at our spa or online for specified services, packages, or dollar amounts and are not redeemable if lost or stolen. Gift Certificates must be presented upon arrival for the scheduled appointment. If you are a recipient of a donated or auctioned Gift Certificate, please give our receptionist the Certificate number to book your appointment. If appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, your spa Gift Certificate will be forfeited.
PLEASE NOTE: Gift Certificates expire in 5 years from the date of purchase and are non-refundable.
If you have had a treatment that you are unsatisfied with please contact the spa immediately.
We cannot give refunds on any products sold due to personal hygiene and health and safety reasons. If there is a fault with the product we can send it back to the manufacturer for review.
Loyalty points are awarded for every dollar spent on services or retail merchandise. You will receive 500 points for a New Client Referral. For each 500 points earned you receive a $10.00 discount to be used toward a service or retail item. Loyalty points may NOT be used to purchase Gift Certificates and are NOT awarded for buying Gift Certificates. Loyalty points will expire after 18 months. Loyalty points can be used on up to 50% off a single full price item.
